Fourth Degree

While the foundational principles of Charity, Unity, and Fraternity unite our Order, the Fourth Degree represents the culmination of a Knight's journey. Established on February 22, 1900, the specific and primary principle of the Fourth Degree is Patriotism, love of country, respect for democratic traditions, and defense of the moral law.

Fourth Degree Knights, proudly known as Sir Knights, demonstrate their devotion to God and country. Through visible presence at civic and religious events, participation in honor guards, and steadfast support of our veterans and military families, Sir Knights serve as a beacon of Catholic citizenship in our communities.

Are you a Third Degree member ready to take the next step in your Knights of Columbus journey? There is no waiting period required, and the path to becoming a Sir Knight is open to all eligible brothers in good standing.

Joining the Fourth Degree allows you to:

• Deepen Your Brotherhood: Stand shoulder-to-shoulder with fellow Catholic men dedicated to civic responsibility and faith.

• Honor Our Veterans & First Responders: Take an active role in programs that support those who protect our freedoms.
